Last week, I had the pleasure of being invited to the School of Future Entertainment in Sweden for a presentation (remember my tips on a lean, effective, scientific presentation). The talk was given as part of their local game concept challenge and my aim was to inspire them to not only collaborate with themselves, but also with their audience and have a close look at the players they are developing their games for. I argue that it is quite important to have an amount of knowledge about your players and games of course to be a good game designer. You can find the slides attached to this post:
