Finally, after two weeks of tri­als (going from 10 am to 8 pm every day), I am done with my game exper­i­ments, research­ing the player expe­ri­ence. It was a chal­lenge, using a whole lot of per­son­al­ity ques­tion­naires, game expe­ri­ence ques­tion­naires and all kinds of psy­chophys­i­o­log­i­cal equip­ment. It was really nice to get some help from Dennis for some of the ses­sions and with 25 par­tic­i­pants, I would say it was also a great oppor­tu­nity to meet some of the game stu­dents in BTH and SOFE. Now, I wish, I could say, I look for­ward to the data analy­sis, but any­one ever hav­ing done mixed method research knows the pain that data cor­re­la­tions brings with it. I hope I will be able to put a pic­ture of the exper­i­ments up soon.
